Gelato Gourmet

A fun portrait scenario seemed to need something more once the real-color images were viewed. Pizazz and spark to match the ice cream play by a young gourmet—whose parents actually owned a cupcake and ice cream parlor.

In Photoshop, I used a combination of Fresco, Watercolor, and Poster Edges, with partial opacity and selective vector mask reductions.

A rainbow of jewel colors fit the fairytale, and the transformation to pop art was complete.
