I wrote about tools and marriage, tools of marriage, tools of relationships. A short story delineated my sudden desire for a specific mate who had more tools that I did, but found kindred understanding with my heated garage and my cats. He was willing and able to use his tools. However, everything was not rosy; I had never formulated a bride-style. Suddenly the song of The Dress beckoned; I didn’t know what I was getting into. A rocky road to be sure between the hardware and the soft.

Oh my! I needed a major twist to become a viable project. Long and white is not necessarily! My decades of love for all manner of wedding dresses, and my personal fascination with wedding customs, The inspiration was there over time, but the impetus arrived through a local writing group in the spring of 2019.
